Konami '88, released as '88 Games in North America and as Hyper Sports Special in Japan, is a 1988 Olympic-themed arcade sports video game developed and published by Konami. It is the third game in the Track & Field series by Konami, where players test their Olympic skills against other world-class athletes. As the title implies, it is loosely based on the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Synopsis from Wikipedia, CC BY-SA.
Where to buy
Konami '88 was a coin-op original — it never had a shelf release, so there is no boxed copy to buy. What you can buy is the hardware itself, or a later home conversion.
Arcade original: Konami 88 Games - Arcade PCB Jamma, Tested Working - ハイパースポーツスペシャル / '88 Games. Coin-op hardware is sold as boards and cabinets, often needing work — read the listing carefully.
