MotorStorm: Pacific Rift is a 2008 racing video game developed by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 3. It is the second installment in the MotorStorm series and the sequel to MotorStorm. The game was announced by Sony following their acquisition of Evolution Studios and was released on 28 October 2008 in North America. It sold over one million units as of December 2008.
